A frontier studio that deploys into the operation, works the constraints that are actually there, and builds a new class of thing where the old class ran out.
Most work stops one rung short. A tool does one task faster; a system runs a process end to end. Wildcard Research aims at the third rung: a new class of thing that had no category before it was built, which other people can then build on top of.
The studio works forward-deployed, on site, inside the operation, next to the people doing the job. Every deployment runs the same four steps: land, probe, build, hand over. It isn't finished until it runs without us.
